Nothing could be easier.
Bid the maximum amount your willing to pay for the item.
When you place a bid, higher than the minimum bid required, the computer holds your bid secret.
The computer then, raises your bid as necessary and places bids for you up to your maximum bid.
You do not have to do anything else unless your outbid. Then it's your option if you wish to
bid higher on that particular item or not.
